COVID-19

UPDATE: Florida Fertility Institute is continuing to follow all CDC guidelines for patient and staff safety, and we are open for scheduled appointments. Patients are asked to wear masks or cloth face coverings when in the office. We also ask that children do not attend appointments with you at this time.

The safety and health of our staff and patients is our top priority. As we continue to monitor the developments of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we want  to reassure you of the steps we are taking.

We are actively following the guidelines and recommendations as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the local U.S. health authorities. Our offices are cleaned thoroughly and we have taken additional precautions to ensure we are maintaining a healthy and clean environment by increasing the frequency of cleanings across high-touch surfaces and highly trafficked areas.

We are working with our staff to ensure they have the most accurate, up-to-date information from the CDC and local organizations; and are keeping them well-informed of everything we are doing. We are encouraging our employees to take extra precautions, including frequent handwashing and staying home if they are unwell. We are and will continue to remain OPEN until further notice.

Our statement on Roe vs. Wade

Dear Patients,

The Doctors and staff at The Florida Fertility Institute understand you may have concerns, fears and questions about the impact overturning Roe vs. Wade may have on your reproductive health and fertility treatment. The answer, reached after exhaustive review and consultation is clear; the Supreme Court ruling does not limit or prohibit FFI’s ability to provide high-quality reproductive services as we always have. Based on our review of proposed legislation, there is no indication that Florida, or any state is contemplating limiting IVF care. As stated in the ASRM response “This decision removes an essential civil liberty that Americans have relied upon for nearly 50 years, one that is well-grounded in the history and best traditions of our country.”

The physicians and staff at FFI stand for and believe that health care decisions are determined between physicians, medical providers and their patients. We stand for protecting your rights and to provide the most advanced, evidence-based medicine to all patients. We stand with you, those struggling with the pain of infertility, pregnancy loss, and those whom face barriers to family building. We stand with you now, we stood with you in the past, and we will be with you stead-fast moving forward.
