Patient Instructions
Endometrin
Each ENDOMETRIN® insert supplies 100 mg of natural progesterone and comes with its own single-use disposable applicator for sterile insertion into the vagina, 2 or 3 times a day as your doctor prescribes.
Your doctor will have you begin using ENDOMETRIN® starting the day after egg retrieval, and upon a positive pregnancy test, continuing for up to 10 weeks total duration.
Unlike some progesterone products that may require you to lie down when inserting them and to remain lying down for a period of time afterwards, ENDOMETRIN® can be inserted while you are standing, sitting, or lying on your back with your knees bent.

Ovidrel
Ovidrel® PreFilled Syringe contains recombinant hCG, an injectable hormone. This is the hormone that causes eggs to finish maturing and be released. Ovidrel® PreFilled Syringe is used in infertility treatment cycles following treatment with products containing human follicle stimulating hormone, such as Gonal-f® (follitropin alfa for injection).
The hormone in the Ovidrel® PreFilled Syringe is manufactured to meet standards for quality and purity.
However, following our commitment to the area of reproductive health, Ovidrel® PreFilled Syringe is the only hCG available for subcutaneous (just under the skin) injection in the United States.
Ovidrel® Indication
Ovidrel® PreFilled Syringe is indicated for the induction of final follicular maturation and early luteinization in infertile women who have undergone pituitary desensitization and who have been appropriately pretreated with follicle stimulating hormones as part of an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) program such as in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer. Ovidrel® PreFilled Syringe is also indicated for the induction of ovulation (OI) and pregnancy in anovulatory infertile patients in whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure.
Bravelle
Your baby story could begin with BRAVELLE®, a highly purified preparation of human FSH.
BRAVELLE® is used to stimulate egg maturation, and for multiple follicular development in women who are able to produce and release eggs (ovulate). BRAVELLE® is also used to increase the potential for success in ART.
You can administer BRAVELLE® by subcutaneous (under the skin) injection, with or without a partner—a process made easier with our patented Q•Cap® vial adapter.
