Comprehensive Diagnosis for Reproductive Problems
The first step in helping you start your family is to identify possible causes of infertility. Our facility performs a comprehensive infertility evaluation of couples who have attempted to conceive for at least one year without success, or who have known infertility risk factors in their medical history.
Our specialists treat a full range of infertility problems including recurent miscarriages and male infertility. The Institute is equipped to perform transvaginal ultrasound scanning, hormonal testing, husband and donor insemination, and other advanced reproductive procedures.

Our facility performs a comprehensive infertility evaluation of couples who have attempted to conceive for at least one year without success, or who have known infertility risk factors in their medical history.
The infertility evaluation may include complete physical examination of the male and female partners, as well as an array of laboratory studies. Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sperm problems at our advanced andrology laboratory may include:
- Semen analysis
- Anti-sperm antibody testing
- Sperm penetration assay
- Longevity assay
- Sperm wash and capacitation
- Mucous penetration testing
- Male hormone testing
- Sperm viability staining
- Donor insemination
- Sperm chromatin structure assay
Women patients may undergo hormonal testing initially. In addition, we may perform any of the following as part of an infertility evaluation:
Hysterosalpingogram (HSG): a technique for evaluating the interior of the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes.
Post-Coital Test: an evaluation of sperm survival in the cervical mucous, performed in a manner similar to a Pap smear.
Endometrial Biopsy: a procedure which takes a sample of the uterine lining to evaluate if hormone levels are adequate for embryo implantation.
Diagnostic Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: Surgical procedures performed on an out-patient basis to provide the physician with a direct view of the pelvic organs.
